Acute or chronic inflammation of the renal intercellular tissue and tubules, possibly due to allergic response to Sulfamide or methicillin.
Nephritis associated with pathological changes in the renal interstitial tissue that in turn may be primary or due to a toxic agent such as a drug or chemical. The end result is the destruction of the nephrons and serious impairment of renal function.
