Capillary pulse

Alternating redness and pallor of a capillary region, as in the matrices beneath the nails, occurring chiefly in aortic insufficiency.

A visible pulsation in the skin’s capillaries, either under the fingernail or on the forehead. It’s frequently observed in cases of aortic regurgitation, where blood flows backward into the heart.
