A person with schizophrenia who has rather ‘diffuse and regressive symptoms characterized by silliness, facial grimaces, and inconsequential rituals, and has changeable moods and poor hygiene. There are few significant remissions and eventually considerable deterioration. This from of schizophrenia was formerly called hebephrenia.
