A collection of nerve fibers (fine branches of the vagus nerve) within the walls of the intestine. It supplies the muscle layers and controls the movements of ‘peristalsis.
An autonomic nerve plexus between the circular and longitudinal fibers of the muscular layer of the stomach and intestines.
