A quantity of a drug wrapped in paper, to be swallowed.


A flat capsule containing a drug that has an unpleasant taste. The cachet is swallowed intact by the patient.


A flat capsule is used to enclose unpleasant-tasting medications, allowing them to be swallowed without any discomfort. This capsule, known as a cachet, is designed to dissolve in the stomach.
