Incoordination

A situation in which the muscles in various parts of the body do not act together, making it impossible to carry out some actions.


Inability to produce controlled, harmonious muscular movement.


An impairment in the performance of precise rapid movements. These are dependent upon the normal function of the whole nervous system, and incoordination may result from a disorder in any part of it.


A term applied to irregularity of movements produced either by loss of the sensations by which they are governed, or by defects in the muscles themselves or somewhere in the nervous system.


An inability to produce harmonious, rhythmic, muscular action that is not due to weakness. The condition is typically caused by a lesion on the cerebellum.


Inability to coordinate movements or actions, like the failure to sequence muscle movements correctly.
