A strong disinfectant, made of cresol and soap.
Coal-tar derived phenolic disinfectant, saponified cresol, used at 2 per cent strength. The corrosive and odiferous nature of lysol has resulted in its replacement by the refined phenolics.
A brown, clear, oily fluid with antiseptic properties, made from coal-tar and containing 50 percent cresol. When mixed with water it forms a clear soapy fluid.
