Acyanotic

Absence of a bluish appearance of the skin and mucous membranes.


The term “acyanotic” is a diagnostic term indicating the absence of cyanosis, which refers to the bluish discoloration of the skin that occurs when blood oxygen levels are abnormally low. This term is frequently used in the context of classifying congenital heart diseases present from birth.
