Lack of milk after parturition (birth).


Failure of the mother to secrete enough milk to feed a suckling infant.


Absence of milk or milk flow.


A condition in which a mother is unable to produce milk after childbirth.


Condition in which milk is not secreted or is not contained in a mother’s breasts after she has delivered a child; also called agalactosis.


Absence or abnormally low production of milk in a woman who has just given birth.
