Agenesis

Failure of a body part to form.

The absence of an organ, resulting from a failure in embryonic development.

Nondevelopment of a part or an organ; also called agenesia.

Absence or lack of development of an organ in an embryo. Examples of agenesis include the absence of ovaries (ovarian agenesis), a defective development of part of the brain (callosal agenesis), or absence of kidneys (renal agenesis).

Agenesis means incomplete development, or the failure of any part or organ of the body to develop normally.

The adherence together of small bodies in a fluid. Thus, blood corpuscles agglutinate into heaps (rouleaux) when added to the serum of a person belonging to an incompatible blood group. Bacteria agglutinate into clumps and die when exposed to the presence of antibodies in the blood.

Agenesis refers to the total absence of an organ or a specific component of the body from birth. This condition arises due to developmental failures during embryonic growth, resulting in the non-formation or non-existence of the affected structure.
