Agnathia

A growth‐related defect characterized by a severely undersized mandible or no mandible.

Absence of lower jaw.

A developmental anomaly occurring in the fetus, known as agnathia, results in a partial formation or complete absence of the lower jaw. This condition affects the proper development of the mandible, leading to significant structural abnormalities in the lower part of the face.

A birth defect where the lower jaw is either missing or poorly formed.
