A condition where the blood vessels in the colon dilate, resulting in loss of blood.
Vascular ectasis in the mucosa of the intestine, usually the cecum, an occasional cause of lower gastrointestinal bleeding. Lesions increase with advancing age and can cause occult or obvious blood loss.
