A continuation of the popliteal artery, supplying blood to the leg, ankle, and foot.
Artery that supplies blood to the lower leg muscles and to the muscles and skin on the top of the foot and adjacent sides of the first and second toes. This artery continues to the foot where it becomes the dorsalis pedis artery.
