Anterograde amnesia

Memory loss resulting from brain damage.


A brain condition in which the person cannot remember things which happed recently.


Inability to recall long-ago events but with normal recall of recent happenings.


Lack of ability to recall events after a specific event such as a trauma or administration of a medication.


Amnesia for events that occurred after a precipitating event or medication.
