Anticodon

A specific sequence of three nucleotides in a transfer RNA (tRNA), complementary to a codon (also three nucleotides) for an amino acid in a messenger RNA.

A sequence of three bases in the transfer RNA that is complimentary to that in the messenger RNA.

A triplet sequence of (three adjacent) ribonucleic acids (RNA) in transfer RNA which basepairs with its counterpart, a codon, in messenger RNA and thus receives the message carried by the codon.

A triplet of nucleotide bases on transfer RNA that complements the corresponding codon on messenger RNA.
