White patches formed in the inner lining of an artery, atherosclerosis; arteriosclerosis.


A deposit on the walls of arteries.


Thick, hard deposit on the walls of the inner arteries that can clog the arteries in the heart and the brain or other organs.


The accumulation of fat and other substances within the inner lining of an artery, forming a deposit commonly known as plaque.
