Alveolar ridge augmentation for future implant placement; requires a staged approach.  

Edentulous area in the alveolar ridge where an implant is planned for support of a restoration. A place in or on the body where the implant is positioned. The location in a jaw bone where a dental prosthesis will be or is seated.
