Said of an object, such as a flower, which will form mirror-image halves when cut along only one plane.


Symmetrical on a central line or axis, dividing the organ in two mirrored halves.


Symmetry of an organism or body whose right and left halves are mirror images of each other or in which a median longitudinal section divides the organism or body into equivalent right and left halves.
