  • Catadicrotic pulse

    A pulse wave with two small notches on the descending portion.  

  • Catacrotic pulse

    A pulse showing one or more secondary waves on the descending limb of the main wave.  

  • Capillary pulse

    Alternating redness and pallor of a capillary region, as in the matrices beneath the nails, occurring chiefly in aortic insufficiency. A visible pulsation in the skin’s capillaries, either under the fingernail or on the forehead. It’s frequently observed in cases of aortic regurgitation, where blood flows backward into the heart.  

  • Coronal pulp

    The portion of dental pulp in the crown of the pulp cavity.

  • Chronic abacterial prostatitis

    Inflammation of the prostate gland, marked by dull, aching pain in the perineum, usually of long duration. Although this is the most common type of chronic prostatitis, its cause is unknown.

    Any of three pairs of bony processes on the top of the body of the sphenoid bone, overhanging the edges of the sella turcica.
