  • Commando procedure

    Either of two arched bands of fibers that form the anterior body of the fornix. The fibers lead to the mammillary body.

    Laceration or rupture of the vaginal walls.

    Removal of a fibroid tumor of the uterus through the vagina.  

  • Colpomicroscope

    An instrument designed for the microscopic examination of the cervix. It has higher powers of magnification than a conventional colposcope.
