Electronic implantable infusion pump
A type of infusion pump inserted in the body. The pump is placed in a subcutaneous pocket and is connected to a dedicated catheter leading to the appropriate compartment or site. The pump may be programmable or nonprogrammable.

Ethmoidal infundibulum
The area in the middle meatus of the nose. The anterior ethmoid sinuses and the frontal sinus open into this area.

A relative value indicating the quantity of ionizing radiation received by a digital radiographic image receptor. Although vendors currently use many kinds of exposure indices (i.e., Sensitivity Numbers), standardization is being developed by physicists’ organizations.
