  • Gonococcal urethritis

    A test done to confirm the presence of tuberculosis. It may also be done to help determine the cause of certain bacterial infections present in a newborn infant’s blood.  

  • Gastric analysis

    Analysis of fluid aspirated from the stomach to diagnose various diseases or to determine the types and quantities of drugs ingested in an overdose. Analysis of stomach contents to determine the stomach’s basal acid secretion and maximal acidity after stimulation. The analysis is used to diagnose diseases such as pernicious anemia and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
