  • Hypoglossal alternating hemiplegia

    Medulla lesion paralyzing the tongue by involving the 12th nerve fibers as they course through the uncrossed pyramid. The pathology may extend across the midline or dorsally, involving the medial fillet, causing contralateral anesthesia.

    Numbness, tingling, or other unpleasant sensations affecting one half of the body.  

  • Hemiparaplegia

    Paralysis of a single leg, or of the distal hemibody. It is considered a rare condition.

    Twins fused at the navel and thorax.
