  • Hypophrenium

    Downward turning of the eye when the eyes do not act together. A type of strabismus in which one visual axis lies below the other. A condition where the line of sight from one eye is positioned lower than the other.

    Defective activity of the testes.  

  • Hyponychon

    Suffusion of blood beneath the nail. An extravasation of blood beneath the nail.  

  • Hyponychium

    Thickened skin underneath free end of nail; nail bed. Free edge portion of the nail growing beyond the phalanx tips. Slightly thickened layer of skin that lies between the fingertip and free edge of the natural nail plate.
