  • Hypotensive

  • Hypoperfusion

    Decreased blood flow through an organ, characterized by an imbalance of oxygen demand and oxygen delivery to tissues. Inadequate blood flow, for example, to a single organ or through the entire circulatory system.  

  • Hypoglycemic

    An agent that lowers the concentration of glucose (sugar) in the blood. Causing a lowering of blood sugar. Low blood sugar. If an herb has a hypoglycemic effect, it helps lower blood sugar. A substance that works to reduce blood glucose levels.  

  • Hypocholesterolemic

    (Cholesterol-reducer), a substance that lowers blood cholesterol levels. Related to, indicative of, or resulting in an abnormally low level of cholesterol in the blood.
