Microcalcification
A minute deposit of calcium in breast tissue that can be detected with a mammogram but not felt on physical examination. A grouping of micro calcifications suggests that cancer may be present in the organ.

Microaggregate
A very small amount of detectable solid material that precipitates from a saturated solution. Microaggregates found in intravenous infusions are usually caused by the incompatibility of the infused components, or by the presence of cellular fragments (e.g., in transfusion).
