  • Mild mental retardation

    A limited intellectual development reflected in an IQ score between 50 and 70. Children in this range are considered to be educably mentally retarded.  

  • Mild learning and behavior disorders

    A general classification for disorders that involve learning and/or social or interpersonal behavior disorders that generally are discovered in a school-based setting. Usually this classification is assigned to those who fall 1-2 standard deviations from the norm and can still be taught in a regular class setting for the majority of a day.
