  • Malfeasance

    The commission of an unlawful act, typically applied to public officials or employees.  

  • Male menopause

    The time during middle age when a male begins to respond to a lowered production of testosterone menopause. A period in middle age when a man may feel insecure and anxious about the fact that his physical powers are declining (informal).

  • Malady

    Any disease afflicting the human body.  

  • Maladaptive

    A characteristic of a response that makes it inappropriate in dealing with stress. An instance of inadequacy or hindrance, such as maladaptive conduct, denotes behavior that is unsuitable for a particular circumstance.  

  • Malacia

    Softening of a part or of tissues, osteomalacia. The pathological softening of an organ or tissue. State of abnormal softening or sponginess (e.g., osteomalacia). Softening of a part or tissue in disease: for example, osteomalacia or softening of the bones. Abnormal softening of tissues of an organ or of tissues themselves.
