Neurofibroma

A fine thread in the cytoplasm of a neurone. One of the microscopic threads of cytoplasm found in the cell body of a neuron and also in the axoplasm of peripheral nerves.

A malignant tumour in the retina. A malignant tumor of the retina of the eye. It is a form of glioma and commonly spreads into the brain. A relatively rare tumor of the neuroepithelium in a nerve of special sense.
