  • Operant pain

    Learned pain behavior that may respond to behavior modification respondent pain.  

  • Operant learning

    Learning that occurs as a result of the consequences of a behavior. Positive consequences increase the frequency of the behavior, while negative consequences decrease the frequency of the behavior.  

  • Operant goals

    The end result and the process for achieving this end. These goals are values clarification, decision making, and self-actualization.  

  • Operant behavior

    A response that is generated or modified through the expectation of a reward.  

  • Open wound

    A wound in which the affected tissues are exposed by an external opening. A contusion in which the skin is also broken, such as a gunshot, incised, or lacerated wound. A wound with a wide, open external gap.

    A system that is influenced by and is in constant interaction with the environment.
