Omental bursa
The lesser peritoneal cavity; the cavity of the great omentum. It communicates with the greater or true peritoneal cavity via the vestibule and epiploic foramen.

Olecranon bursa
A bursa at the elbow joint lying between the olecranon process and the skin.

Orbicular bone
The rounded end of the long process of the incus, a middle ear ossicle. It probably represents a secondary ossification center in the long or lenticular process.

Object blindness
A disorder in which the brain fails to recognize things even though the eyes are functioning normally.

Occult bleeding
Inapparent bleeding, especially that which occurs into the intestines and can be detected only by chemical tests of the feces. Bleeding that is not visible to the naked eye, such as internal bleeding within the intestine, may only be detected through medical tests.

Ophthalmic biometry
Measurement of any part of the eye, from the cornea to the retina, with an ophthalmic ultrasound.

Obstetrical binder
A binder that extends from the ribs to the pelvis, providing support for a markedly pendulous abdomen. Such support may be rarely required for severe diastasis recti or for marked separation and mobility of the pubic symphysis during pregnancy.

Oxygen bath
A bath given by introducing oxygen into the water through a special device that is connected to an oxygen tank.
