Polymer fume fever
Condition resulting from breathing fumes produced by certain polymers when they are heated to 300° to 700°C or higher. Symptoms include a tight gripping sensation of the chest associated with shivering, sore throat, fever, and weakness. Treatment consists of discontinuance of exposure to fumes.
