  • Pseudophthisis

    A condition of wasting that originates from factors other than tuberculosis.

    A hysterical or another disorder that mimics the symptoms of paresis.

    A previously used term to describe blood disorders that are distinct from leukemia.  

  • Peeudodiphtheria

    An inflammatory condition that generates a fake membrane on the lining of the throat. It is not caused by the diphtheria germ and therefore does not produce the harmful diphtheria toxin that affects humans severely. This condition is also known as diphtheroid.  

  • Pseudobulbar

    A term commonly used to describe a type of paralysis that appears to be caused by a brainstem lesion but is not actually the result of such a lesion.  

  • Peeudarthritis

    A hysterical condition affecting a joint, mimicking the symptoms of arthritis.  

  • Prurigo nodularis

    An uncommon, long-lasting skin condition primarily found in women, characterized by itching, the development of nodules, and wart-like skin lesions. It is considered an unusual nodular variant of lichen simplex.
