  • Rhizocarpic

    Plant with roots that are perennial but stems or shoots that are annual [unusual term].  

  • Rhizobium (plural rhizobia)

    Soil bacterium that fixes nitrogen and has an association with a plant.

    Sub-umbellate cluster, fan-shaped cyme, the lateral branches developing in one plane, alternately in opposite directions, with the main axis appearing zig-zag (mainly in Iridaceae).

    Notched, with a rounded indentation (usually said of an apex). So blunt at the apex as to be slightly indented.
