  • Radioresistant

    Resistant to the action of radiation; used especially of a tumor that cannot be destroyed by radiation treatment. A tissue or tumor that remains unaffected when exposed to X-rays or radium radiation.

    Something that receives radiant energy such as light, heat, or x-rays.

    The augmentation of the effect of radiation. This may be produced by certain drugs and by oxygen.
