  • Saddle block

    A relatively common procedure used in labor to anesthetize the area of the women’s body that would touch a saddle.

    Pertaining to the joint and ligaments between the sacrum and the ilium. An area that is a common site for lower back pain. Referring to the sacrum and the ilium. To the joint in the pelvis where the sacrum and iliac bones join.
