T-wave inversion

T-wave inversion is often associated with ventricular hypertrophy, ventricular ectopic beats, and coronary ischemia, among other conditions.

Temporal average intensity
The amount of therapeutic ultrasonic energy delivered to tissues over a given time. The temporal average intensity is calculated by multiplying the spatial average intensity by the percent duty cycle (e.g., 20 w/cm2 X 50% duty cycle = 1 w/cm2 TAI). The temporal average intensity is meaningful only during the application of pulsed ultrasound.

Transtracheal insufflation
The introduction of oxygen into the trachea during mechanical ventilation in order to decrease dead space.
