Choroid plexus

Part of the pia mater, a network of small blood vessels in the ventricles of the brain which produce cerebrospinal fluid.

Structures in the ventricles that secrete cerebral spinal fluid and play a role in intraventricular pressure of the brain.

A rich network of blood vessels, derived from those of the pia mater, in each of the brain’s ventricles. It is responsible for the production of cerebrospinal fluid.

An extensive web of blood vessels occurring in the ventricles of the brain and producing the cerebrospinal fluid.

The choroid plexus is a network of delicate blood vessels found in the eye and brain. In the eye, the choroid plexus supplies blood to the retina, supporting its nourishment. Within the brain, the choroid plexus lines the ventricles, which are cavities, and performs the important function of producing cerebrospinal fluid.

A delicate, fringe-like growth that extends into the cavities of the brain and produces cerebrospinal fluid.
