Crepitant rale

A delicate, dry, crackling noise, akin to the sound of hair strands being rubbed together. This sound is often briefly audible around the lower edges of healthy lungs during initial deep breaths. It can also be heard during the early or resolving phases of a congested lung, as seen in conditions like pneumonia, pulmonary collapse, and lung edema.
