Flinders island spotted fever

A febrile spotted fever transmitted to humans by the bite of Ixodes ticks infected with Ricksettsia honei. It is found primarily in Victoria and Tasmania, Australia, and is similar to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in the U.S.
