Uniform, of one kind.


Composed of things which are the same, in contrast to “heterogeneous/’which refers to a mixture. For example, in a homogeneous or “single-diagnosis” Diagnosis Related Group (DRG), all the patients have the same diagnosis; on the other hand, a heterogeneous DRG is composed of patients with a variety of diagnoses.


Consisting of like parts; having a uniform quality.


Uniform in structure, composition, or nature; the opposite of heterogeneous.


Possessing a consistent or uniform nature.
