Jaundice linked to liver inflammation. It’s believed to spread by using a syringe and needle on a patient after it was previously used on another patient carrying the causative agent of this jaundice type. This agent can withstand boiling, the standard method for syringe sterilization, but is eliminated by high-pressure steam sterilization.
