This condition is known as left-sided abdominal pain or left-sided appendicitis, named so because its symptoms mimic those of appendicitis but manifest on the left side of the abdomen. In reality, it is often diverticulitis. However, there is an uncommon scenario where the appendix is indeed situated on the left side of the abdomen.
