Left ventricle

A sending chamber of the heart that pumps the oxygenated blood out of the heart.


The ventricle situated on the left side of the heart.


The left lower chamber of the heart that receives blood from the left atrium and pumps it out to the body through the aorta.


The cavity of the heart that receives blood from the left atrium and pumps it into the systemic circulation via the aorta.


The spacious cavity situated in the lower left portion of the heart is known as the left ventricle. It propels blood to the aorta, which then distributes it to the entire body.
