Pathologic retraction ring
During delivery, a prolonged contraction of the ring formed by the junction of the body and isthmus of the uterus.

Lymphoid ring of the pharynx
A ring-like arrangement of lymphoid tonsillar tissue around the oronasal region of the pharynx. It consists of the palatine, pharyngeal, and lingual tonsils and provides protection against invading bacteria, viruses, and other foreign antigens.

Femoral ring
The superior aperture of the femoral canal, approx. 1 cm in diameter.

The opening of the inguinal canal deep inside the abdominal wall.
