  • Osteotrite

    A surgical tool utilized to scrape away unhealthy bone tissue.  

  • Osteopoikily

    A congenital bone condition that is typically painless and distinguished by the presence of small, dense regions that are susceptible to occasional spontaneous fractures. This condition is also known as osteopoikilosis or osteosclerosis fragilitas.  

  • Osteoperiostitis

    Inflammation affecting both the bone and the periosteum.  

  • Compact osteoma

    A dense and solid projection of bone that originates from the outer layer of bone located near the surface.  

  • Osteoid sarcoma

    A cancerous tumor composed of noncalcified bony tissue.  

  • Osteoid chondroma

    A type of growth that originates beneath the periosteum and consists of cells capable of forming actual bone tissue.  

  • Osteogenetic sarcoma

    A cancerous tumor originating from the deep layers of the periosteum.  

  • Osteoectomy

    The surgical removal of a bone or a portion of a bone.  

  • Osteodystrophia fibrosa

    A rare condition that exclusively affects females, characterized by uneven pigmentation patches along with the presence of cysts in the bones. This condition is also known as Albright’s disease.  

  • Osteodystrophia deformans

    A condition that typically occurs in older individuals, impacting one or more bones and resulting in deformities due to irregular growth. The exact cause is unknown. This condition is also referred to as osteitis deformans or Paget’s disease.
