  • Buccal occlusion

    The orientation of a premolar or molar tooth that is situated beyond the normal alignment of occlusion.  

  • Occipitotemporal

    Related to both the occiput and the temporal bones of the skull, or to the occiput and the temporal lobes of the brain.  

  • Occipitoposterior

    A term used to describe the position of the baby’s head before birth, where the back of the skull is oriented toward the mother’s spine.  

  • Occipitoparietal

    Associated with the occiput and the parietal bones, or with the occiput and the parietal lobes of the brain.  

  • Nymphectomy

    Surgical extraction of one or both nymphae.  

  • Nympha

    One of the two smaller lips at the vaginal opening, known as the labium minus pudendi.  

  • Nyctalope

    An individual who has better vision in low-light conditions compared to daylight.  

  • Nummulation

    The creation of coin-shaped structures. The state where red blood cells cluster together in a formation resembling stacks of coins, known as rouleaux formation.  

  • Nubility

    The stage of sexual maturity at which sexual intercourse becomes possible.  

  • Nubile

    At an age suitable for marriage or at an age when a female is capable of bearing a child.
