  • Nosotoxicosis

    Any illness resulting from toxic exposure or poisoning.

  • Juxta-articular nodules

    Nodules located beneath the skin in individuals afflicted with syphilis or yaws. These growths have a firm texture and are typically located above the joints of the upper limbs, particularly the elbow, as well as on the legs.  

  • Aggregate nodules

    Clusters of lymph nodules grouped within the organ walls, as observed in the walls of the small intestine, where they are referred to as Peyer’s patches.  

  • Sentinel nodes

    A lymph node located above the left collarbone, which can serve as a potential site for cancer spread from the stomach, other abdominal regions, or within the chest. It is also known as the signal node.  

  • Ranvier’s node

    The area within a nerve where there is a localized narrowing of the nerve sheath.  

  • Parrot’s nodes

    A bone protrusion on the skulls of infants born with congenital syphilis. Bony projections observed on the frontal and parietal bones of the skull in cases of hereditary syphilis.  

  • Niter

    Saltpeter is also known as potassium nitrate.  

  • Nightwalking

    Noctambulation, also known as somnambulism or sleepwalking.
