Neuritis that occurs as a result of previous nerve damage.

Infectious neuritis
A sudden onset of multiple neuritis, likely caused by a virus, known as interstitial neuritis. This type of neuritis affects the connective tissue surrounding a nerve.

Endemic neuritis
Neuritis linked to beriberi, a condition that arises due to starvation and diets deficient in vitamin B. It was notably prevalent during the Second World War, particularly in Japanese prison camps.

Adventitial neuritis
Neuritis resulting from an infection of the protective nerve sheath.

Neuraxis
The thin nerve fiber originating from a nerve cell, which is technically referred to as an axis cylinder. This pertains to the component of the nervous system comprising the brain and spinal cord.

A condition of weariness and discomfort stemming from emotional factors. It is also known as neurasthenia.

Nephro ureterectomy
Surgical removal of the kidney along with all or a portion of the ureter.

Nephrocapsulotomy
Surgical cutting of the kidney capsule.

Phosphorus necrosis
A type of bone necrosis, particularly affecting the lower jaw, found in individuals exposed to phosphorus fumes. It is also known as phossy-jaw.
