  • Enterostenosis

    Constriction or tightening of the intestinal passage.  

  • Enteroplegia

    Post-surgical intestinal paralysis that can occur after abdominal surgery, even if the intestines themselves are not the focus of the operation. This condition is a type of surgical shock affecting the intestines.  

  • Enterolysis

    Surgical elimination of adhesions in the intestine.  

  • Enterology

    The examination of the intestinal tract and its associated diseases.  

  • Entero-enterostomy

    A surgical procedure that connects two sections of the intestine, typically after removing an intervening diseased segment.  

  • Endoneuritis

    Inflammation of the supportive connective tissue that provides a framework for individual nerve fibers.  

  • Endocervical

    Relating to the inner region of the cervical neck.  

  • Empirical empiric

    Derived from firsthand observation and practical experience, rather than solely relying on scientific logic. For instance, it might pertain to understanding that a drug is efficacious, even if the precise mechanism behind its effectiveness is not fully understood. It can also refer to an impostor who engages in medical practices without formal scientific training.

    These are the veins that penetrate the bones of the skull, forming a connecting network between the veins on the outer surface of the skull and the dural sinuses inside.
